Jacques Derrida has had a great influence on contemporary political theory and political philosophy. Derrida's thinking has inspired Slavoj Zizek, Richard Rorty, Ernesto Laclau, Judith Butler and many more contemporary theorists who have developed a deconstructive approach to politics. Because deconstruction examines the internal logic of any given text or discourse it has helped many authors to analyse the contradictions inherent in all schools of thought; and, as such, it has proved. - Jacques Derrida Deconstruction. Post Structuralism - In structuralism one sees commentaries on the structure from various seminal theorists trying to unveil what lies in, behind and around the structure, but Derrida deconstructs the fundamental assumption.
- HEADLINE: JACQUES DERRIDA. Deconstruction, in other words, guards against the belief - a belief that has led to much violence - that the world is simple and can be known with certainty. It confronts us with the limits of what it is possible for human thought to accomplish.
- Reading Jacques Derrida himself is generally an appalling and futile process. The purpose of this study is to give plain information about Derrida’s deconstruction and hermeneutics within literary theory. Derrida as a philosopher who is still difficult to be understood claims that all texts have ambiguity. Therefore, the.

For a contrapuntal Mediterranean: between archive fever and new epistemologies This contribution moves from a philosophical point of view. It aims to serve as an epistemological problem evaluation and then as an archive of some fundamental themes of the political situation in the Western world, particularly Europe. This framework will be used as an analytical tool for some postcolonial 'contrappunti.' In the present case I will discuss, from a deconstructionist point of view, some fluidifying coordinates of thought, that date back to the thought of W. Benjamin, G. Bachelard, M. Foucault, M. Cacciari, G. Deleuze, and J. Derrida. These perspectives will be combined with those of E. Said, H. Bhabha, F. Cassano, I. Chambers, S. Mezzadra, A. Dal Lago, P. Frascani, which are equally deconstructionist, though otherwise inspired. The Mediterranean Sea is the problematic benchmark, because of its historical and geographical scene of new crossing migrations. These create a revolutionary message according to a thought that is not harmonious, in continuous evolution and yet 'inactual.'

This paper aims to draw a connection between Jacques Derrida and Jean-Luc Marion in regard to the role of negative theology. This scrutiny shows meaningful contributions of the Authors to a new definition of subjectivity in a post-metaphysical age, and their consideration about which possibilities are still open for a non-predetermined history given outside of the presence domain. The future is neither a totalisation of history by its end, nor a simple continuation of the present. It is an eschatological event, where the relationship with the other plays a crucial role for the self-constitution. Such an interlacement is generated by the confession, where the link between past and future is not causally determined, but instead it is self-witness, as in Augustine’s masterpiece, essential reference for both the Authors

One of the historically most debated questions of deconstruction concerns its relation to ethics and to politics. In this paper, I provide a basic taxonomy for the various positions taken on this issue, starting with the distinction between 'inflationary' readings, which assert a positive relation between deconstruction and ethics and/or politics, and 'deflationary' readings, which deny such a relation. I identify the radically deflationary reading of Hägglund (2008) as the most promising, and I compare it to inflationary readings such as Critchley (2014). I then identify the major problem that apparently faces deflationary accounts like Hägglund's-namely, how to account for all the statements in Derrida's writings that imply a positive relation between deconstruction and ethics and/or politics-and I propose a novel solution for dealing with this potential objection, namely, understanding deconstruction as being structured into a formal core (of general method) and an exemplary periphery (of singular application).

New Materialism and Speculative Realism have obtained their avant-garde status by creating a simple division between their work and a past they characterize as constructivism or correlationism. While this satisfies libidinal and market forces that demand novelty, it depends on a chain of dogmatic reversals that remain deconstructible. Jane Bennett's Vibrant Matter operates according to such a set of reversals, opposing itself to the (old) representation of matter as inert and passive by describing matter as free, living, and creative. However, because these affirmations occur as reversals, without a phenomenology or deconstruction of the underlying concepts, a suppression of matter identical to that from the tradition remains in her work. Her dogmatic predications are necessary to uphold the claim of a simple break with the past, but this repression of undecidability renders untenable both matter's novelty and the novelty of any progressivist historical schema, such as that of the 'New' Materialism.

This chapter proposes a close reading of Jacques Derrida’s The Animal That Therefore I Am from a four-fold angle: first, it attempts to revise or revisit the Derridean animal in the language of the Deleuzian “becoming-animal,” or, as this essay claims, in the light of the “turning-animal” (my suggested retranslation of Deleuze and Guattari’s
concept). Second, it follows the uncouth soundtrack left in Derrida’s text by the clanging middle part of the title and its “Que Donc”, imported from Descartes. Thirdly, it ties the question of the animal to that of opening, reopening, re-defining, the proper name. Lastly, it opens up the territory of Derridean animal-thinking by inviting into it a number of contemporary residents – nomads belonging in the same “plateau” or pack-formation – among whom Hélène Cixous and Valerio Adami.

Allo Illa ?

Abstract: Starting from two minor moments in H.C. for Life relating to early encounters between Cixous and Derrida, a card sent ‘from afar’ and the ‘prière d’insérer’ to which Cixous’ hasty message is compared, this paper addresses a few technologies of writing in the context of the Unidentified Literary Object briefly sighted in the volume. Engineered as mobile escape pods or as light reading vehicles, the ‘flying’ leaves inserted in recent Cixous fiction (launched with the joint publication of Veils in 2000) contribute both to the work of deconstruction and to the invention of a folded, non-linear, reversible time in writing, a tunneling form of temporality – from the manuscript of the P. of D., (the ‘P. de D., Le Prénom de Dieu) to the more recent Double-Oblivion of the Orang-Outang (2010) and Défions l’augure (2018). Contemporary Ci-fi (short for Cixous Fiction) rests, in part, on the power to disrupt not only spacetime, but also genres and the law of ‘gender’.
